We've spent the last week playing, coughing, sneezing and dripping..
. aah-choooo! Though we're so excited to be sharing our time together, we've done a little more than just share our toys ;) We've shared our bugs, too- and all of us have been sick over the last five days- boo! But hey, atleast we've got each other. We've had Cafe Rio twice- grandma's favorite. Aunt Smell introduced Canyon to his first McDonalds cheeseburger (which he devoured- imagine that)... to which Grandma responded by picking Canyon up his first gift card specifically designated for the continued purchase of CHEESEBURGERS- that will last him 'til he's 5 if that's all we're allowed to use it for ;)

Last weekend we all headed to Donut Falls again. Canyon and Brycen in backpacks and Kelsen in his little baby bjorn. We were quite the sight. John, Kelly and Rob hiked to the tip-top while the kids and I looked on. Aunt Kelly nearly broke her ankle on the hike out, but managed to protect little Kelsen during her fall. It was very graceful ;) We spent the remainder of the day at Snowbird riding the zip-line and eating yummy mexican food. We accidentally ate most of the appetizer while Uncle John ran to the car... and we've yet to hear the end of it even though he whined enough that the manager made him his own little plate of "cheesy chips." We headed back up to Snowbird again this weekend for Oktoberfest!! The food was great and Canyon and I had fun dancing to German music! And Kelly and Rob did an egg dance to win tram tickets... they were the first eliminated!! Ha Ha!As for you Can-can... You continue to keep us busy. You weren't feeling good this week so mommy and daddy let you sleep in our bed for the first time. You sprawl out like little puppy and steal the blankets:) And when you really weren't feeling well, the only way I could get you to sleep was sitting upright with you on mommy's chest. Though I am still feeling a little sleep deprived- it was worth it just to have you cuddle with me!! Grandma got you an early birthday present (I cannot believe you're almost 1 year old!) and you adore it. It's a shiny red radio flyer car that we can push you around in. You look pretty cool leaning back with one hand on the steering wheel ;)

James told me you had a blog and I finally got the address from him. I just thought I'd see how you and your family are. Your little guy is darling, he looks a Ballard to me.
